May we clarify two points, We only post on this forum under the name of Mrblindspot, always have always will, (apart from one occasion early on) Security on this site is never compromised, and we are the only ones who can see "ip" address's, regardless of what anyone says.

I arrive at 9 o'clock sharp ready for the challenges of a new day. "I don't know why they have sent you out, I told the girl that I just need a few louvre carriers for my old blinds. I have ordered them before from you. She said not to worry I will send an advisor round to see you" This was in my diary as a sales call - not service. The customer was never going to buy blinds as she is hoping to move house shortly.
Customers time wasted, my time & fuel wasted, could have had another sales appointment in that slot!
Oh dear oh dear
Of course my instructions were ignored and I ended up with three acacia bottle verticals. I contacted service center and told them about the error and after she spoke to a team leader she came back and said they would sort it out. Before I ended the conversation I told her to confirm that it wasn't being put down as an agent error as it would be cheaper for me to buy the louvers myself than have a 3 x £20 fine. She said it wasn't and that was that. Lo and behold when I get the invoice for them it was put down as an agent error = £60 fine I was absolutely f***** furious! More so the fact that I was lied to by this service centre idiot! Hence now I have to go through the hastle of trying to get this refunded via my FSM
no chance of that dear!!!!!!!!

hey peeps did a nice one the other day 18 intu blinds, wanted perfik fit but saw intu and loved it. any way price was only £1000, sillarys over 2500, trouble is i gave a bit of discount and am only making 350 on this job still can't win them all, i'm fitting one roller today and i get 60 quid for that ;D ps i love our chinese rails they win me no end of sales.

You should try replying to the D8 complaints over the last 4 months as you have promised several times then you may start to understand what your advisors go through and how often. The development team were obviously run roughshod over when it came to switching to D8 by accountants who could only see low cost (for that read cheap) Chinese imports and increased profits. How can you ignore the howls of protest from field operatives as you (for that read Hillarys) do?

hi all I've been reading the above with interest.. Been working for hillarys about 18 years now and I gave up taking leads from them many years ago for very similar reasons. in the olden days ... when I was a lad!.... We used to collect leads for hillarys before and during the metro Centre shop days (a long time ago). I would talk to customers and provide agents with "Quality" leads. many times a customer would ask for quote as she was moving soon and needed some idea of costs. Enquiries of this nature would have been easy to convert into leads, as I suspect call centre does now. Hillarys as I'm sure you know by now ? arn't interested in the agents time and expense, so long as a lead is taken given and a sale made at any cost (as long as it's not thiers!). I've been Very Cynicle for many years now and about to go I think as They now want me to spend £500 on a sam thingamy jig thing. I've read with interest "the SAM scam" notes on other page ..... Well I needed that Rant !!

By the way - when will anybody from H respond to these issues? Surely they can't all be totally ignorant regarding advisors feedback - if you don't want to know don't create the website and ask for our opinions or information.

Here we are again! appt Monday 9-12. Called on time, shown 2 kitchen windows to measure. Gentleman explains he has very poor eyesight, almost blind, and had explained to the lady on the phone that he wanted details of the 50% venetian blind offer and- you've guessed it- wanted natural or neutral colours - magnolia would do. I stated that they weren't in the sale and he went mental! Clearly well spoken gent who was disgusted that H had stooped so low as to get me there into his house under false pretences etc. (I've heard it all before ad nausea thanks to H.) I apologised, made my departure spitting feathers about the incompetents in the call centre that accepted the appointment. When will H get it through it's thick skull that they are continuing to heap more damage upon its already battered reputation as they persist with this shoddy treatment of customers. You are entitled to have 50% off sales - no problem,. But when you do please ensure that it clearly states, in decent sized print, which fabrics are available, that the tele centre staff are sufficiently trained not cut corners, lie, cheat or whatever other stunts they pull to get the appointments from people that are either vulnerable or state exactly what they want in the first place.
No-one will reply - there's more chance of another earthquake in my living room!

overheard in marketing dep "What tactic shall we use this month i know 50% off but just to make it original we'll make the leaflet twice as big and the small print 3 times as small. That way the customer will think we really do have a sale on! wow, what a great idea, we could also change the headline from red to blue. wow wow. i can see where that marketing course you did really comes into effect. this is so good we only need to tweak it, and it can run for another 33 years. yea,, but hang on, what will we do all day. we can just be caretakers like the fsm's, we can run around looking busy, but actually achieve nothing more than that which would happen anyway.
