HI guys Anyone else having problems with their PDA? I've got to have my new upgraded PDA replaced as it's crashed and won't let me into SAM let alone anything else!!! Been on the phone for 1hour with HIllarys and Vodafone trying to get it sorted!!! Worst thing is, Alan's Old PDA won't work either. It's his third replacement and vodafone are trying to palm me off with a reconditioned old PDA which I won't accept so am currently doing battle with them to get an upgraded pda for him also so that one can crash in a months time!!!! Really frustrating isn't it!!!  Apart from that had a fantastic week. Not many leads but nearly 9k sales. Think I'm gonna like being a specialist! Credit were credit's due, fitted 6 pleated friday on one job then did 2 bays in wood venetians and topped it of with a shutter in a kitchen above the sink......Everything was in perfect order, woods were top dollar and the shutter took one hour to fit and looked the dogs dangley's.
so round of applause for the factory, no missing parts, no master pleat missing and everything in tip top condition with all brecketery in the boxes......Is a joy to fit when it all goes to plan!!!!!!

How are you all getting on with the latest 1605 compact lll. I got one in April, got my third one last Tuesday, it broke Thursday, my 4th one is due this Tuesday. See how long that one lasts I'm on my second its almost useless keeps losing the INTERNET connection and has to be reset daily I wish I had stuck with the old SAM now . |

And I thought it was only me !
Had mine for a couple of months so doing better than most, but same symptons i.e dropped connection and constant resets. Also, eyesight failing with the advancing years, I find all the print too small and too faint.
You can conclude that I'm not very impressed either.

See how long that one lasts I always thought that hillarys pushed these onto the advisors without proper developement The latest model is so outdated with only a 2 mega pixel camera and 1g card for a start ,my phone has a 2g card and 5 mega pixel camera and that will be obsolete in one year the SAM is on a two year contract also my phone very rarely loses its INTERNET connection the only advantage SAM has over my phone is it hurts more when you drop it on a customers head when they ask for 3 for 99. |

i'm getting a new computer with windows vista on it, i seem to remember reading somewhere there are compatability problems with activesync.
does anyone know if this is for sure and if there is a solution?

From memory, you have to download a Vista version of it. What anti-virus/anti hacker etc do people use? I'm running McAfee but it don't half slow my computer down now. It never used to |
