Well I've now got my 4th new style handset. Talking with a guy at Vodafone these have a problem with SD card slots, with the catch or clutch breaking, which was my problem.
If you think Hillarys are disorganised at times, try this. Thursday phoned Vodafone. We'll get you a complete new handset delivered Friday. No please make it Tuesday. Can't book it that far ahead, will have to make a note and order it Monday for Tuesday. Ordered my last one on a Thursday for a Tuesday delivery, no problem. No will do it Monday. Tuesday PM. Spoke with Mark in IT, no handset delivered. Mark spoke with Vodafone - delivered this morning, signed for by D Morse at 9:40. Nope, that was last Tuesday at 9:40. No says Vodafone, definitely today 9:40. Will send Mark copy of signed receipt. Wednesday phoned IT, no receipt. They phoned Vodafone, don't know what your talking about, nothing on order, nothing delivered, but Morse overdue for upgrade. No that was done last April, just waiting for one that will hold an SD card. Will send you one for Thursday, but just a front, not a complete unit. Got home in the evening, card from a courier, missed delivery. Thursday AM, courier arrived with yesterdays missed delivery of a front, not complete unit. Said there's another one somewhere but can't find it. Thursday PM courier returned with second front, but couldn't leave it as I had nothing left to exchange.
And you thought Fawlty Towers was bad .........

i'm getting a new computer with windows vista on it, i seem to remember reading somewhere there are compatability problems with activesync. does anyone know if this is for sure and if there is a solution? To enable synching on Vista you must download "Windows Mobile Device Centre" (FREE) from the Microsoft website. Regarding Anti-virus software, I have been using AVG for a couple of years now and regard it as better than some of the "paid for" packages. It can be downloaded free from www.grisoft.comVista is overloaded with security measures and I find that I no longer need any anti hacker software because it's all built in
