Someone needs to tell them it is not a live feed but a pic frozen in time. There'll need to go to mI5 to get the one they need LOL. Someone also needs to tell them that blinds are not delivered in signwritten vans by the blind company but by national courier companies. are they desperate to catch peeps or what ;D Any one DD would be crazy to have a signwritten van in there new trading name. how many advisers have a van any ways, only the real proffesionals and they surely would of cottoned on to the fact that they are missing out with sillarys. My day today consists of 3 measures for sillarys and 1 fit, 1 measure for moi, and 3 fits for me. Total dosh££££(hhhmmmmm cake lovely cake) that i will be collecting in balances today from the 3 of mine (which means profito peeps) is £722.55  You lot be careful out there, its getting hot, and my apologizes for turning up the heat on all yous Double dealers that were having a quiet secret double life. If its any consolation my boasts have put the pressure on me as well, but I's doing well and am at the stage I don't need sillarys  Sorry to all yous independants who are also suffering as I'm taking business off you. I knows you relys on sillarys for the big quote and then yous steals the order, nows I get there first ps check out decoras new tape on woods and there cheapo excel woods, Sillarys can't touch them prices (although arena can ;D ) Its so nice giving custs prices and they don't take a sharp intake of breath like sillarys. It makes DD a sheer and utter pleasure, despite recent difficulties, ain't the d' fsm's useless, I had one check me sales bag a while back  AS IF!! |

Blog busy day today, as always. 3 measures for me one being a roof not bad for someone who aint trained apperently not good enough well i beg to differ ;D one pick up of material for making of own roman blind. Sillarys could not do this as they would lose the fabric 9 times out of 10. and one fit for me 3 rollers and a vert £232 profit from that £470 total cost. The rest of the day will be dedicated to my mortgage payers Sillarys a few fits and some measures you figure how many, can't give yous to many clues. have a great day and live long and prosper, I fear my days are numbered Jokes, I'm untouchable |

No, Ben Guest, you are wrong on all three counts.
I have not been with Hillarys for over three years and I most certainly was not under their spell for several years before my departure. The deterioration of the relationship was gradual but probably inevitable.
During my time with Hillarys, I sold blinds "independently" (as you put it) on many occasions. It was not, of course, truly independent as I would never have been in a position to sell blinds in the first place had it not been for Hillarys.
What does p*ss me off, though is that this site was originally well intentioned (as was the other one) and was created as a serious forum for the exchange of information and views amongst the rank and file of Hillarys agents and to help each other and to support (our) various endeavours to make a living in the industry.
It has now deterioated due in no little amount to the inane babblings of people like Brian. Can you honestly say that this is a serious source of help and advice for agents with problems and who need advice.
Brian reminds me of a guy I used to know who used to stand at the end of the bar telling everyone how he was having a Saturday off this week and we wouldn't believe how much money he was losing because of it. The fact was that no one was interseted and no one cared. I do recall lots of subtle back and forth hand gestures being made in his direction. The only difference between him and Brian is that we knew who he was but not the exact figures (although, deep down he wanted us to know). Brian brandishes figures about behind a cloak of anonymity.
It's people like him who have destroyed this potentially useful resource.
Brian, you're a boring (rhymes with "prat"). You're fired. (I wish).

Agree totally, and you're only underlining what I and many others have said on numerous occasions. BUT, it's all to no avail - no matter how many times we point out the inaccuracies in his boastfull ramblings, no matter how many times we point out the basic lack of respect and ethics in his 'double-dealing', the deluded one comes back with his stomach-curdling street slang and emits his verbal diarrhoea time after time. Was he EVER amusing, maybe - now he's just brought down what could (I agree) have been a great source of knowledge for all of us who make a legitimate living from this trade. No doubt, we will now witnes some counter claims form the great one himself and his other disguised (joke) followers....... ;D    |

But don't forget the £1500 and £3000 i get from sillarys every month. Maybe if you got your van back and got off your lazy fat old long grey haired butt you could make some more. I know you, always mouthing off at roadshows like yous superior know it all. Gets rid of van then forgets roots, even if I dident know you, i would say theres no way yous under 50 with no other choice. |
