Been looking through the new Hillarys website. It's not bad at all, selling the service rather than the product, but ......... Awnings, we'll agree the fit date as you order. 3-4 weeks If only ..........

Turned up to fit a wooden venetian for a customer who had ordered an awning at the same time to find that the awning fitters had beaten me by a week. The customer was very impressed, however she had to turn them away as because I had told her it would take up to 8 weeks she was having her pation relaid and there was no room for all the workmen.

What is the normal delivery date now for awnings. I sold one last week and told her around 4 weeks but she said the sooner the better so I do hope it gets installed quickly. Sods law is that seen as she requires it fast she wont get it till September.

My first post - hope it doesn't rankle anyone!
We're a Sign Company that also makes up Canopies and Awnings, mainly to complement our Shop Signage business, but also Patio Awnings in the private sector. I was invited to join - looks intersting - hope it's not all linked to Hillary's.
My point in this thread is to say that you previous posters are LUCKY to find customers at all who are willing (a) to pay Hillary's Awning Prices, and (b) willing to wait 4 to 8 weeks!!!!!!!!
....and don't get me started on Sandersons.........(always nice to follow their rep. up the garden path though!)
Bet you can't wait for my 2nd post......
