Me too. No way am I paying any more into this device. Its paper work for me too once my sam packs up. Agree totally with these sentiments BUT where did this threat of £ 200 come from ? Is it just a rumour that has gathered pace or does anyone have any substance to back it up ? We are in danger, as happened freuently on the old forum, of slagging off Hillarys without checking facts first. If it is true then I will stand with the rest - we've already paid out a fortune for flaky technology (the printer) - but I refuse to get over excited until I know whether it is serious. Its NO RUMOUR. Phone IT and ask for yourself. 2 year contract with BT and the 1605 will cost you over £200 for the device, plus line rental, plus data transfer costs. Dont take my word for it...... then ring em n find out!!!!

No way am I paying this on my fast droping income.

There was a radio interview the other day talking to business around the country and one of them was a competitir of Hillarys. You know the type. The ones that sell em cheap-pile em high. One of the ones Hillarys have tried to get rid of. Well this guy said thay are the busiest they have ever been and can not cope with out expanding. Do hillarys still thinki its the ecomomy or have they woken up yet.

To clarify matters on this £200 charge here is Jenny Crookes response as posted on the Hillarys site If this is true and we are expected to pay out again, you can count me out. Where will it end. With a new printer next month for £150, then a laptop a year later. I will just wait and see what happens but I wont be paying out for more useless kit with my earnings now at an all time low. An etch-a-sketch could do just as good a job.(slightly sarcastic over exaggeration.) By the way, they are on their forth Star blinds guy in my area. They last on average 2 weeks, then they get a paper round at the local shop and triple their earnings.

Hillburys silly story ! Nuffin changes!....
2 months ago i ordered a simple roman blind with deluxe headrail but request added for Longer Cord ! (250cm) because the blind is for a Landing window (un-reachable)
Went to 'query ' straight away . they can do a Longer cord IF the Standard headrail is used! I explained this wouuld be no good whatsoever . The cord on a 'deluxe' can easily be made longer if 'connectors' and extra cord is added. This was agreed .
Still no blind arrives - i chase it . answer was ''don't fret love its made and in despatch''.
Next week - No blind arrives - i chase it . sorry they say we'll have it on a courier to you . OK !
still no sodding blind arrives . I chase it ! Now am told blind was never made ! They can't make one with a long cord! Oh FFS Back to square one !
Blind in query . They ring me and ask 'what do you want to do agent?' Oh FFS Make the blind as i have asked , deluxe headrail with standard length cord - In special instruction add- Supply 2 connectors and additional 150cm of cord. OK they say we can do that .
Guess what - This weeks delivery ......
........... No sodding Blind !
It's in query ! Oh FFS ! YOU CAN NOT MAKE THESE THINGS UP CAN YOU !!!!!!!!
absolutely MENTAL ! And it's such an easy fix ! To be on safe side i have ordered a 150cm length of 'roller' blind cord and 2 Connectors . Will they be able to make the Standard blind NOW - Don't Hold Your Breath!
Hillarys the DIMWITS ! Can not see outside thier silly little Colwick Box!

To clarify matters on this £200 charge here is Jenny Crookes response as posted on the Hillarys site So if I'm on a roll-over contract and I change to BT, and my highly reliable pda needs changing yet again, who pays? Or I stick with Vodafone and every 2-3 months get another recon head unit. At least it explains why we're getting recon units if Vodafone have lost the contract
