At last Hillarys have got their act together and set up their own forum.
Sadly (but not unexpected) it seems to be rather full of negative posts, which seem to become more aggressive, as no response is given.
It seems a fantastic opportunity is being squandered, they have opened a "can of worms" they must now be man enough to deal with the issues raised.
To us, this highlights the perpetual misjudgments Hillarys make, they continually fail to communicate effectively, both with the advisor network and internally.
This leads to a very disillusioned/discouraged/de-motivated advisor who has no faith in the product he is asked to sell, or in the processes at work to support him/her.
Unfortunately, we feel things will not improve. The "spin" in place of honesty will continue, as the "business" mis-focuses on the shareholders and cutting costs at the expense of reputation. Their internet sales will continue to bolster the figures of a declining "Hillarys at home" market place. FSM's are clearly not doing their job properly, but we all know where that blame should lie.
There are many more points that we could raise, both from your feed back and the contacts we have, but at this point it would be futile.
Each of us should think very carefully as to the type of future we want in this industry, especially those that have given many years of service, and feel let down. The skills we have gained will allow us to compete and make a good living in more ways than one.
Enough said on that.........
Of course, it means that this forum will become less popular, however we have no intention of shutting it down.
Many prefer the freedom of choice and safety that this format offers.
Early in the new year we have plans to expand it, and open it up to a much wider audience within the industry.
Merry Christmas to you all.
