Anyone been to one yet ??, mine is coming up soon.
Is it the usual spin and balderdash or is there any substance this time .
Any discussion about the D8 rail etc

Hi Topfixer, went to mine last week, I was impressed, they were talking about resolving current issues, there was no spin, and the plans for the future seemed to be spot on, some will probably disagree, but I came away thinking that they are going forward in the right way

Had ours this week and, whilst I don't wholly agree with Ade, I certainly feel it was worthwhile.

There was some detailed discussion about the market and the company's plans, a little about new products (but disappointed to learn that 'perfect fit' is for side blinds only, not roofs), some reassuring statements about service levels, some detail about Delta 8 and, of course, the usual exhortations about what a great Xmas it is going to be.

Spin was very definitely evident, though not as transparent as it used to be a couple of years back, but the content helps us to understand the philosophy behind much that is happening.

The real point, however, is that roadshows are an oppurtunity to meet and chat with other advisors, and to meet or renew acquaintance with head office contacts. At the one I attended there was the Manufacturing Director, the Materials Manager, a Product Manager, a couple of ladies from Marketing, Kevin Beardsey and a couple of lads from IT, a number of FSM's and the Regional Sales Manager - all of them very approachable, easy to talk to, and welcoming our input.

The roadshow also covered the new, revamped, advisor website, which now incorporates an improved forum - do log on and have a look. Hopefully Hillarys management will also particpate in the forum so the sort of conversations that we can only have at roadshows or team meetings will become a regular exchange of views.
