Just received my new Blinds and shutters, trade magazine, and having read the first two pages, was struck by 2 comments in particular.
1/ "If they prosper so do we" Spoken by the Apollo blinds MD, referring to franchise holders.
2/ "we never compete against you" Spoken by abba blinds ltd.
How refreshing, if only Sillarys could adopt the same ethic, we would all be better off!

Instead of having a target market, they have several target markets. Hence, weblinds, blinds supermarket, Starblinds, Hillarys Blinds, Awnings by ..., Shutters by ......... Mind you, I know where I want to be. Being a specialist, 99% of calls are to very nice homes, where you wipe your feet on the way in. |

As a specialist can you tell me how it works, as I'm considering it for the next intake.
Do you still do core blinds or are you on "standby" for the specialist only range.
What are the earnings like?
Basically, is it worth doing?

Still waiting for perfect fit roof blinds to get released as I have a number of customers hanging on for it !

Still waiting for perfect fit roof blinds to get released as I have a number of customers hanging on for it ! Perfect Fit was released years ago, I first quoted against it 3 years ago. A shop in Farnham was selling it and Mark Lucas told me all about when asked. Or do you mean you're waiting for Hillarys to relelase it? If so, I'm confused, I thought you were an ex-advisor buying commercial premises, earning £100k profit, investing in a cleaning machine, and avoiding higher rate income tax. By the way, a mate really does have an ultrasonic cleaning machine. Brings manky old venetians and nicotine coated vertical louvres up like new. Advertises in yellow pages and a few flyers, getting good domestic and commercial work |

Be interested in talking to your friend re-ultrasonics. |

I quoted against perfect fit ROOF blinds 3 years ago ....... I have 3 companies locally selling roof and sides, and have had for some time. Perhaps you need a new supplier |
