If I remembered correctly you were one of the previous forum biggest moaners! Actually no, you don't remember correctly. Far from being a moaner I was / am one of the few who kept a measured view of everything, was the voice of reason, and worked actively with Hillarys management (admittedly with limited success) to try to get positive change as a result of the input from the forum.

Ja, I might be wrong again! Sorry, we all have a time to moan a bit, sometimes it works and more times it is not working! I just hate it to be criticized as much as anyone else. So from now on, I would only give positive remarks!

No need to get silly about it - we all have to moan occasionally so you should feel free to do so, it always helps to offload your frustrations on sympathetic ears. The reason I came back and took a pop at you was because when you first came onto the old forum you displayed an unprecedented level of arrogance and did indeed offend and upset a lot of people. You now have more experience of both Hillarys and of the job, and have clearly mellowed in attitude and taken on board some of the points made by more experienced advisors. So now its water under the bridge, let's call a truce and move forward.

So now its water under the bridge, let's call a truce and move forward. Done! I really enjoy all the tips I read on the forum and can use most of it. Remember a while a go I asked about the wooden venetians in the conservatory where the valances kept coming loose, due to the glue on the velcro that melted? I received the tip about the silicone, done it, it worked on the short lenghts, but not the long valances. I finally bought mirror clips and bended the U side closer so that it fits snugly over the head rail, almost like a clip and fixed them with that very silly short screws that they supply with the L bracket to fit returns. It worked like a dream! Valances is securely fitted to head rail and customer happy! I am relieved about that! I was 4 times back and to the customer and it is finally completed!!

I've left Hillary's for Appeal as well. Had 10 years at Hillarys. it all started going down hill about 4 years ago when they got rid of the shops & started using phone monkeys to book leads in!!
