Lost FSM

Hillarys has lost one of the best FSMs they had. Today Tony Leslie tended his resignation. He will go to work for Appeal Blinds.

Having spoken to Tony he tells me that Appeal blinds are astounded that Hillarys make us advisors pay for our PDAs and printers as they are in the process of buying laptops for all their self employed advisors

tis indeed a sad day, Tony was my very first (of many) area managers. he was indeed one of the best.

I am privilege to meet my new FSM at long last, just don't know how long he will be there?!!? Since he started I am suddenly down to 3 leads a week, where previously it was at least 10-20 a week! I am seriously concerned, because I have a family to support and with this type of leads I will not be able to do that anymore!! Can anyone tell me how business was last year this time? Busy or not? I am really concerned!

It is quieter this year than last as a rule but to drop that many leads is not solely down to that,I would suggest you check your diary and postcodes are set up correctly ,also speak to your FSM regarding this and check as there maybe a new advisor in your area .Are you core or specialist because if you are core you will see a big downturn in roofs,Awnings and shutters year on year.

When FSms are leaving and when a list of over 40 advisers have left in the past 4 weeks it is time to sit up and take notice.
Very few are making a living.

I think there is a new advisor in my area, because I had to cancel 2 days appointments when my son had chickenpox and suddenly all my leads is gone, even my old customers!! Will see my FSM tmrw and will let you know what is happening! I have quite a few questions to ask him!!

Very few are making a living.

Wheres this list of over 40 advisors, can I see it please? And also the reason's for their leaving?

I wouldnt read much inti it with over 800advisors on the books you will lose some 40 havent gone in a week its over a period of time its still sad though because some of them were long time advisors and you only have to read back a few posts to see leads can dry up overnight,its dog eat dog nowdays remember you are only flavour of the month for so long ifyour figures start sliding watch out

It sure is sad to see Tony go, I always found him helpful and as honest as Hillarys allowed him to be. Maybe he's had enough and gone to join Andy Lloyd as he's also at Appeal.
Wonder who will be next !!!!!

There isnt a list aunty K. I was told by someone at H/O today. They can not recruite them fast enough to replace them.

Is that right about Andy lloyd he was my first FSM he was great .Spoke to tony leslie a few times was a nice bloke

Andy and Tony have kept in touch since Andy left. He did point Tony in that direction, but it was a build up of other problems that pushed Tony into making the jump.

Excuse me for mentioning it but is this not the lady who, only a few months ago when she started, expressed complete disdain for the established advisors in her area, positively enjoyed the fact that she was taking leads away from them, and threw them a few crumbs by suggesting that they could do her fitting for her ?

Also, was she not warned on the old forum that chickens come home to roost ?

I too remember Tony Leslie, who was FSM on this patch about 8/10 years ago. Definitely one of the good guys, understood his advisor's businesses, and worked with them rather than against them or in spite of them. There always have been, and still are, some good FSM's and Tony was a shining example.

Sorry to lose you Tony, but good luck for the future.

Ouch!! Sorry to disappoint you, but it was me! I am still here and the diary and leads has been sorted, just problem with post codes. Yes everyone have to learn by there mistakes and I apologize if anyone was offended. Just to let you know I am still doing all my fittings myself and would not bother to ask anyone to do it, since I have been out on service calls where I had to refit blinds from other advisor's that was a real shabby job and I don't want anyone to get in the position where they have to rectify my mistakes.

From the advisor's in my area, there is currently only 2 of which one was of sick for 4 months and is coming back slowly and the other one left, but decided to come back on a part time basis.

Anyway I still enjoy my work and if you want to be critical about others, be it! If I remembered correctly you were one of the previous forum biggest moaners!
