Some people can make the Hillarys system work for them - some can't. Those who can't, can't accept it's their failing so need to prove they can succeed elsewhere. That's fine, some will really succeed, most won't. Big question is :- how many will and for how long? How many 1-man-bands are successfully trading in your area? I've lost count of the number I've seen come and go over the years, none of them have lasted, including the guy who was apparently "the biggest and most profitable agent Hillarys had ever had". That was until he was terminated without notice for dual trading. He then set up and was "going to wipe the floor with Hillarys" but soon disappeared, never to be seen again. For the odd 1 who is successful long term, good on them. What they perhaps don't realise though is that not all advisors are looking solely at net profit, but to earn a good living without the hassle of running an independent company. As for dual trading, if your conscience lets you, again fine but many of us don't need to Well said BVM. I am quite happy with what I earn as a Hillarys advisor. I dont care if another advisor earns more than me. I certainly dont care if someone leaves and gets a better income somewhere else. All that matters to me is that I earn what I want.

Not too happy with my income this week. Just £45. My income has been dropping so much that we now get over £9,000 in family tax payments. That means that now, if I do want to earn a decent living again I have to earn £9,000 first before I start earning anything more. What a sad state when you can get more in tax credits than earning it. I was successful by the way (£250K a year) before CLG took over my phone number and gave half my area away and keep sending me on bum leads and spread them out all over the place. Wrong address, wrong day, wrong customer, wrong phone number etc, etc.

I've just done a 3 day week this week and earned £1400. ;D It's strange how this business works for some but not for others. Not boasting, but as you know, I like to post the alternatives!! K ;D

K ;D Sounds like Hillarys propaganda to me, unless you name names. I am not a one man band, I have some of the biggest blind people on my side and let me tell you the quality is far better than you know who, and the service always beats hillarys , who are verging on complete incompitence in sorting some things out, The fsms run the show and most of them know jack nuts about the reality of selling them etc. All you do is what you are all ready doing, order pads, advertising, you all raedy do the rest. Only you get your blinds from some one who is not ripping you off and the customer. And the important bit, make twice as much. I know you can make good money with them as I do. Get out of your comfort zone and earn more .

Which Advisor was that then Des? Interested to know!! K ;D Brian Colenut. Myself and others had to rectify his work for several years after he'd gone. My last customer damage was caused by his fitting skills. Replaced some roof blinds which he'd screwed in to the plastic trim, which in turn was hanging off the wall. Brackets had rusted and as I was trying to release the last one, it all fell off the wall taking wall light with it. He was well known locally and at h/o.

What differance does it make if he has left as you say I have the guts to reveal my name but as you will appreciate, right now it would not be good business practice. Any way I'm only here to help those who what to do better not to argue. Sorry to upset you.

My business account, after 8 months Shows a small growth in a month under 3k but probably more than you got with Hillary's Obviously the statement is rolling and does not show the end of business figures. Most of the 9000 is me paying 6000 for my 10000 order.
