Hello peeps
I have been successfully double trading for a while now, and have no problems, you have to be fair about it.
Its true, you make about 45% plus, on every blind, and you have 3 times the choice to show the customer, no problems with quality, and very helpful and get them quicker, even arena give better service than hillarys.
My business has been long term abused by hillarys poor managment, and ignorance, they don't seem to care anymore, so i did something about it, to make me a success, now I am in total control and I do not care if they get rid of me, as I could quite easily survive on my own now.
I know 2 others doing it and one has another big franchise as well.
I don't want to give figures because some think your just boasting, but once you done it there is no going back, I was nervous at first, but now very happy.
Hillarys are crazy because they are losing good workers who are fed up with the hype and ignorance. They ran my business down with other advisers and did ent tell me, now I run it up again.

All Hillarys do is run you down.
Full time agents become part time agents.
Part time agents have to find another part time job.
New part time job goes well and becomes better than Hillarys job.
New part time job becomes more full time.
Result Good Bye Hillarys.
Lots of long time agents have left, and l am sure more will follow.
Some people double trade, others do something different.
The end result is still the same.

Sold one vertical blind today for me, nice suede effect, Hillarys be doing that in ayear. Cost customer £265, I make 110 clear profit.
Sorry that is a little boastful but I don't mean it like that.

Sorry that is a little boastful but I don't mean it like that. when you say clear profit, is that after things like advertising, insurance etc.? or are you living off hillarys leads? not trying to burst your bubble or invite an arguement but get a clearer picture.  (you never know when you might need this sort of info) |

All my leads are mine, all hillarys are hillarys.
My expenses come out of my earnings same as out of commision,I could say alot more but do not want to get banned.
On the £265 the profit I earn over and above what I would get commission on the same more than covers expenses.
Just example, not a boast. yesterday sold 6 pleated rectangles roof into wood
£775, theyn will cost me about £450.
If I am allowed to tell you how I would, just do what your already doing and earn at least twice as much.

Fitting some woods today 7 blinds cost customer 650, I make about 300. anyway while fitting a competitors van pulls up over the road and I watch guy get out carring 2 Hillarys roller blinds (same box as ours, same labels only pink). Hillarys double dealing so why can't we. They are always competing against us as advisers and themselves as Hillarys.
Look at the blinds supermarket site, which is hillarys, they even slag off their own "sales" when they say on that site "no gimmicks, no offers"
Why do we have to take the sales so serious when there only gimmicks.
Any way I'm only doing what they do, look after number 1.
Since started got just over 15,000 in bank saved. Hillarys pay the home bills. getting to busy to cope with both though, will have to go soon. Just got a 10,000 order,only make 3500 on it but wanted to make sure i got it, anyway only take 2 long days to fit.
I suppose thats a little boasting, but I'm just trying to say what could be like for us. Most have got the skills, look after number 1 its working for me.

Also think about it. If you got a big order how much would Hillarys make? well that could be you.
Get a trade price list and see for yourself and do yourself a favour.
