RE my rate I'm a 3rd stage advisor ...never heard of that well that would be because your not up to the mark. You dont run two businesses you parasite off one and as for trade prices der of course I know what blinds cost as do the staff at Dixon's etc know what telly's cost as they sell them but they dont set up in competition to them do they they call that bite the hand that feeds you.Oh and one last thing if your not being fed well its because your no good at what you do

I already know you are a third rate advisor, so how much do you earn, "show me the money". What is the "mark" that i'm not up to? My business's are doing well thankyou, and yes they complement each other very well.
My quess is that the spotty oiks that staff dixons hav'ent a clue how much the tv's cost, as they can barely answer any technical question, let alone run there own business, however I am happy for you to compare yourself to them. And I'm sure they, like you are quite content in there blinkered and subserviant roles.
As for "biting the hand that feeds you" I feel you have used that description out of context, I prefer to think that they, like all graeat business peaple were using there heads and making a go of there lifes. What a sorry world we would live in if we all were not allowed to act for ourselves. At least you'll get some money, I think Brian needs to calm down, we are all lucky to be selling and fitting blinds, I worked for Honda in Swindon for the last four years, it is not good working for big companies any more, I went full time with Hillarys in March after six years part time, I would not have been able to acheive the same income if I had stopped doing the blinds and stayed with Honda I would have had to become a high up Manager to get the same salary, but would have to pay more N.I. and Tax, also this would take a long time to acheive and my face would have to fit, I know where your coming from Brian, there is a lot of money to be made in blinds and as a Hillarys advisor we get a small reward, but compared to being a PAYE employee it is miles better, my life has changed for the better by going full time I think sometimes we need to reflect on what we have got and thank god we are not working in a factory or office or a call centre, Oh by the way I have been to see one half of the Dynamic Duo ( Karen in her nighty !!!) and she sorted out my problem, thanks for the advice

For what its worth, I too have lost sales because they have not been worth the commission I would receive.

Mainly smaller orders, where its a single roller at £60 to £80 and the customer waves a quote for £40 from a competitor in my face. Forget "beat a quote" I'm out of there!
