Dual trading is rife, I've even dabbled abit myself. But I must say Hillarys are the worst culprits. They blatently dual tradel against us with there other names and ring back arrangements. Best of all they actually encourage owners of other franchises to dual trade and buy from arena. So how can they complain, what goes around comes around. Luckly i have been away from Hillarys for over a year , I have an Arena Account and can get EVERY Same Blinds as Hillarys , Sell Cheeper than Hillarys and STILL make a Good Profit .

The Totally Amazing point is i get the blinds (inc Woodens) in 4 Days!!!!!!

I noticed Neighbour across road from me had a visitor. Guy left the House and jumped in a Dark Blue 'Y' Redg Audi ( You know who you are!!! LOL ) Any ways its a Hillarys Man .

Rollers Strewn in back of car , and him Strugling with the big blue cricket bag.

I went across to Neighbor , and was shown the postage size quote . I offered to do the same Blinds for £50 less . I measured and got the order. Arranged to fit Monday next Week!

You Guys at Hillarys are loss leaders ! Face it every other call is just a Quote , and these are seldom converted to a Hillary Order. You are waisting time , energy and Fuel . The Competition is picking up all the lost Sales .

I hope the previous post meant to put 2-4 days as that's what i get when i buy blinds from arena not 24 days, i could walk to nottingham and pick them up quicker. In fact had some venetians delivered the next day last week!

No post on this forum can be altered by anyone other than a person using the same log in details and myself. Keep your passwords private.
There are people on this site with more than one identity, and using historical names, to make you believe they are someone else.
Post what you like in confidence, it will only be altered by myself if the language is inappropriate, otherwise it will stay.

excelanti, I've been rumbled hillaryarse and "bryans blinds" not the best of names aye, but hillaryarse me? well not quite, maybe when I retire. It just proves what i say in my tag about sillarys creating independant blind people they just can't hold on to the best, and like me milk it and then set up on there own, unless they are old or chicken of course. look in the trade mag nearlys one in three is ex sillarys, oh and where's the ad for arena this quarter,,,cut backs

got a nice wooden order from my neighbor in the next town, i was surprised because he had gone in before me and his quote was only 150 quid more than me, its usually double, so someones desperate discount dan , still gave another £50 and sealed the deal, 450 profit on a 970 job, sweet cakes
things are a little slow with sillarys so they may have suspicions, but I'm playing it safe in the city for a while, me mates not noticed anything. I'll just step up efforts in the 2 neighbors as its out of this area and out of suspich. Did i tells yous I may be getting the training on perfect fit roof, sillarys won't let me so go else where i also seen them do things, but i ain't fooling for that ha ha ha you know office man never sold a blind and was a failure as dfs'm ;D anyway peeps, finished me daughters bedroom,making a start on ours now, tv up and running and wow what a sweet pic, in fact I'm the high definition 1080p adviser and some of yous are still anologues, wake up peeps and be a digital advisor the outlook is so much better
Oh forgot to say I also lost a sale last week to me neighbor for a couple of rollers, could'ent believe it, but just shows yous double deals don't always work

a couple of schools camr through for me last week or it would of been dire, only one of them was ex sillarys. got an appoint today with another school, i done business with them before but this time I'll give them the option i gotta get me stash up its gone right down to 23000 with all me extravigance
Anyways peeps got a full rest of day today then only 1 appoint tomoz but rest of week sillarys keeping me biz and a few fits so'z all is sweets and cake in the bri household, and the misses is happy about the new tv (thats a first)
why is it when you ask for something from sillarys its takes yonks everyone else gets it to me in days, oh well at least its free

peep, by all means let us know what your up to (not much i warrent) if by selling more blinds than you and making more money to boot is so upsetting, maybe you should take some of my advice and do a bit of dd yourself. if you have left sillarys you should be raking it in, (unless you live somewhere less effluent actually come to think of it I make the most bucks and profo selling cheap tat to cheap peeps I can now sell 3 for £99 and make £40 profit believe it.
Create a poll and if peeps don't want the blog I'll shut up telling yous of me exploits.
I'm going to measyre a roof this morn, past sillarys who calls me direct now, I think he may want perfect fit for roof (I did his sides) which I can't do yet, so's I may come unstuck there, I don't want to give it sillarys as peanuts reward, well know where near the 1000 I could make and the guy who does it will see the non sillybillys on the sides and I might get rumbled , any ideas?? I got a friend in another blind bizzy mayme i should share it with him or talk him out of perfect fit.




Just a word of warning if you peeps out there want to respond to sillarys ads for cheap vertical headrails in the trade mags.
THEY ARE CHEAP CHINA READY MADE, we hate them they fall apart never fit nice in a conserv,flimsy bendy and boy do they rattle AVOID AVIOD

Unfortunately, that's impossible - it's a forum after all.

Any SANE person would have got the message by now that his 'blog' is, in these credit crunch times, in poor taste, and not welcomed by fellow forumites - Brian, however is clearly challenged in the sanity department, and carries on and on and on and on...most of it, no doubt, is fanciful drivel!

Clearly he has an extra large slice of Apple Cheesecake on his shoulder when it comes to Hillary's. Those of us who have no working relationship with that company find it boring - he finds his own little childish Sillary World somewhere in there.

What can we do - start a more ADULT forum perhaps. Perhaps one already exists??
