Just had to registor for VAT this month , it's easy if you keep up with the paper work.
Now have wife handling all paper work as she has been able to give up her other job.
Perfect fit blinds still proving a great seller and will have the roof version available soon.
Can sell these at a 1/3 of sandersons and still make 50% gross, better product than theirs too.
So nice to be able to get hold the latest things.

Our pleated collection is looking a little tired, and the competition offers more options. I thought there was talk of a new range? I suppose its just like the "wonderful" new venetian range, our competitors all had a year before us.

We could supply perfect fit for sides but Hillarys have decided to wait until we can supply roof too which should be sometime in the autumn. Glad your business is going ok Magic Monkey. I think you'll find some Hillarys advisors are VAT registered too! My business with Hillarys is going great also, last month sold almost £40k so I'm staying put. K ;D

From what I have read you do seem to have found the key to working with hillarys.
You sell the higher ticket items and have the other half ( ? ) do the fitting.
14.68 % of 40k is still a good margin when you take out your expenses etc.
I've managed to tip over 20k/month 3 times this year, earning 50% at least .
But I do have to put in the hours and fit them myself.
It's the nature of business that it grows.
The best month I ever did with hillarys was 14k, now on my own I sell that with ease month in month out earning much more and the customer gets a better deal.
Most cases even a better product.
There's no reason for you to move on, but I guess there are plenty others who don't do as well as the few on here.
I think my point is, from a standing start my own business will turnover close to 200k in it's first year. Half of that profit - just think if I'd have done it years ago !

May I ask if life on the other side is so good why do you feel it necessary to hide your identity as you state you are no longer withHillarys so no repercussions there and also this forum is for all current and ex Hillary's so none there either....I think its another of those empty boasts that mean nothing if you want a wages boast I will put my months Hillary's wages on here "scanned" and you put yours lets see whose is bigger and if as you say you earn as much as you do them I'm off where the grass is greener waiting............................. ps Im not boasting of my income I just have never seen proof of any boasts from faceless identities and feel it misleading to people thinking they should go out on there own.I am however aware you can make far more profit elsewhere per blind.

sometimes you are ahead, sometimes you are behind - it never pays to be envious .
It's my own choice to stay behind the curtain for commercial reasons.
do you expect any of your competition to openly discuss their accounts with you ?
I have no wish to see a scanned payslip - but I do have some Mickey Dollars I could scan for you ?
I did think that this thread was going nicely and I was able to have an open and frank discussion about things, but you insist on making it playground ' mine's bigger than yours ' etc ....

In my opinion that have missed the boat!

I expect quite a few advisors will take your lead M/M ! Worthy of more (serious) debate i reckon. If you source the products that customers actually want - you must be onto a winner! Who cares WHO earns the most , long as the individual is content . but it does help if you can pay your bills. There are many advisors out there being suffocated by the Sillarys Business Machine , becoming worn out by false promises and lack of credability. Good luck to those that trade alone . Sillary's will learn a lesson one day.

If you were earning 100k a year like billy bullrubish Magic Monkey would you really have the inclination and time to come on here and boast about it.
Turning over 14k as the best month ever sums this loser up, just another one of life's jealous have not's, and old dinasours...the companys littered with them

How can a open and frank conversation be had with someone who is clearly not open or frank ,and as to not giving your competition details about yourself well that could work both ways but thats not what this forum is about so put up or shut up or is this forum turning into the rubbish of the old one.

These figures do rather stretch the boundaries of credibility. But hey, in 10 years you'll be a millionaire - then who'll have the last laugh.
