Fitted 3 romans yesterday, 1 ok. 1 to long .1 to narrow. No mismeasures involved.

Wooden venetian 230cm long, with only the 2 end brackets, no centre support brackets.

Another on the same order, with the wrong colour brackets and the wrong size. Someone obviously thought brown brackets would look nice with a white blind!

Sorry Mr Blind Spot, nothing personal, but for all I know, you could be an ex Hillarys/currently Harmony or Appeal salesman who just wants our dirt to quote to customers. GOD, you may even be greenpesto under yet another name.
I've deleted my advisoronline account because it was run (badly) by a disgruntled ex advisor. I'm not getting in to the same situation again

that guy spends loads of time getting things running and you shoot him down !

last time I looked it was a small number of people buggering about that caused all the trouble.

if you read my final posting on advisoronline, you'll see (if it's not been deleted), that I very much appreciated and applauded what motters did. That forum now appears to be run and moderated by "youwillneverknow", who bans and deletes others whilst hiding his identity

For exactly the same reasons this may be my only post,Until I know who runs this forum and pulls the strings I to will remain silent on work issues.

Advisoronline started of well always busy but looking back the busiest times were when we had alot to moan about ie wood Venetians 3 for 99 etc ,lately things have improved so the emphasis turned to bickering with each other (hands up here ) problem was most of the snipers were anon and mostly ex advisor's with an Axe to grind.This eventually involved Motters backed by "you will never know" Green pesto aka ex advisor "wont tell"culminating in the banning of most of the Hillary's advisor's ,I also have it on good advice that advisoronline has recently been offered for sale to Hillary's which gives them access to private and possibly damaging information about its past and present members.

For that reason I await confirmation of intention for this site and hope it is in safe hands because when things are running well the forum is a fantastic tool work wise and socially.

Fitted 8 Romans, all cord cleat, (I know the sidewinders are better, but the customer wanted a more traditional look, )

Not one of them went up and down square, I had to adjust them all. What is the matter with these people, do they have no pride in their work, or do they know us idiots will compensate for there lack of ability.

Also what is it with the cheap and nasty plastic thingy on the end of the cord, at the price we charge, surely a wooden acorn would look better.

Yes, i can hear you all tapping away at the moment saying 'I HAVE' but considering the amount of blinds produced by Hillarys in a week i think their DOR rate is pretty bloody good.

No, i'm not a mole, just another advisor but i am in the minority. I actually enjoy working for them!!!!

In fact their DOR rate is poor, we get blinds from 2 companies that have never in 2 years given us a DOR.

And its not just that, its the whole bloody palavor and incompitence of them being able to put it right! If it was just the DOR I could handle it.

Correct! When I was with Sillarys, they gave no end of problems with DOR's!

Now that I work for myself, I can say that what DOR's there are from my suppliers, they are very much in the minority!!!!!!

Proper Suppliers know the value of quality goods. If not, then they would lose valuable customers.

Now at the current time there are many choices to the people as the new trade and designs are in front of people and they are getting great user experience.
