We have been with Hillarys for many years.
We like the rest of you are both happy and unhappy with many things, to do with this business.
We regonise the importance of having a forum like this, where views and opinions can be freely shared, within an enviroment of trust and respect.
This forum is for you. Please use it, but don't abuse it.
We do this for no personal gain, attention, or to spite others.
We have great admiration for those who serve us in a similar way, and do not in anyway set this site up as competition to their achievements. In fact we openly invite their participation and expertise.

A customer was wanting to book an appt with me , but couldn't find my tel No, so she rang 0800Hillary's . She asked for me by name as i had done good work for her about a year ago. Hillary's Call Centre staff (in thier Wisdom) did not check , and told the customer that the advisor was no longer with hillary's!!! I Looked on SAM , and there was this customers booking for one day early next week! What on earth are the call centre people like ! It really beggars belief ! . I've only been thier agent for the last TEN Years ! What a laugh! |

All new members should be vetted , if this is the case ! I enjoyed the advisoronline site very much, and read the posts almost daily. We feel that site has lost its way a little, particularly with the unexplained shutdowns, Motters being no longer a Hillarys advisor and being harassed by them. Our position is as per original statement. We want this site to be everything that site is/was? and more. We feel vetting potential members at this stage would be detrimental to its growth. As far as Hillarys staff posting/reading threads :- catch 22. If we, collectively are unhappy with something and want action, the only way that it can happen, is, if they know about it. In return we get some disruptive posts (as per the other site) which are quite easy to spot and police. In the early days of the other site, there was some positive interaction, between what is now more commonly referred to as "us and them". Personally I feel that it would be very difficult to satisfactorily vet those joining. Effective moderation of posts and members would go someway to maintain its purpose. It would be possible to have a second layer of boards/categories with a higher level of security/ vetting process. The jury is still out on that one, we need your opinions and methods. We also want this site, to be a fun, and friendly ( well, most of the time) place its members can enjoy. We also, for all our benefits, old and new, wise and naive, need to heal some wounds. |

We want a little more diversity, a little more discipline and a securer environment, that caters for all. The owner of the other, bigger forum, by closing it down, all be it temporarily, made us realise how important it is for us to have an independent network base. All credit to the owner of the smaller Yahoo forum, who has been an essential link/lifeline for us all. If you want to be a part of this forum, you are welcome if not, don't be. Either way, our aim/goal of creating a living alternative/backup, for all advisor's has been met. "If you build it, they will come" |

this one will die on it's backside now the other one is backonline HI Guys Great to have another Forum to post on..........I personally had given up on the last one........being banned once and never given an explanation then the site closing down twice again without any warning and now I seem to have been banned again as I no longer can log in. This is the case for many other advisors who regularly posted..............hopefully this site can get back to the good ole days when everyone had friendly banter, a place to let of steam and place to go for advice. Love the new colours too!! Just a girly thing!!! ;D Who's created this forum..............are we allowed to know?  Karen  ) |

With no support for months on end - Suddenly Meeting details have appeared. Pity i am too busy!
