How do we sell these headrails, they are not made to measure, tell the customer they are shipped over from CHINA at increments that will nearly fit their window, but not quite, and also there will be a lot of cardboard for you to dispose of, there will also be a lot of chord and chain as well, but the louvres are going to be made to fit the drop, untill it's cheaper to get it from CHINA, but one day it will cost more from CHINA and all the savings will have to be put backinto setting up new production units, madness

Had a good one today, got a good sale for two verticals, only problem is on the patio door, the door comes in on the runner, leaving a tight gap for a vertical, has a vertical already in place, one of our old rails, the wide body rail will not fit, have requested old style rail, this will cause problems on these type of doors and tight bay windows

Yes there is a lot of it, am starting to advice customers that there will be a lot of cardboard when blinds are fitted and ask if the can get rid of it, otherwise the car is full up at the end of the day,and have to make a trip to the tip on the way home, these rails are advisor friendly NOT!!!!

Ade D9 is well on the way to supersede D8 the main characteristics being you make it up on site from a piece of a 1975 lada riva some string from a leg of beef and old paper clips for carriers however the rail colour is Dependant on the panel colour of the lada so a legal team has been assembled to determine if it really can be sold as "made to measure" ........

Now that these headrails are on general release, what do folk think about the practicalities of fitting them?

Is there anyone out there, who is selling these d8 headrails with any kind of enthuseasum, confidence, or pride I suspect not, and come to think of it, thats probably the general trend, as regards to sillburys.
