No goats , but you must have a Beard ! Dark glasses are however , entirely optional . Why bother blindsman. This forum is as dead as Hillarys is now. The smaller minded advisers killed this off just like the new breed area managers killed off their advisors. Hardly anything doing so just leave it be now. You know we have bigger fish to fry than this old worn out notice board. |

I too pop back from time to time just to have a peep to see if there are any interesting comments, or if 'peeps' is still wittering on in his entertaining way...although I expect he is twittering by now...!
Here's hoping most of you are doing ok in these tougher times, and with even tougher times ahead... particularly those 'terminated' ex-Hillarys advisors like myself.
I just had a look at their advisor recruitment website and couldn't believe you now have to pay £2,000 to sign up your life with them! Also noted that they claim all their blinds are manufactured in the UK!

Have they really stopped shipping all those cheap Chinese venetians and woodens, or is it lies before you even start with them?

Hi Sirkitmain. I think the amount new advisor's pay has gone up more since then. Last I heard it was £2,250. I know many ex Advisor's that were shoved out of Hillary's over the last 5 years or so. Most are doing pretty well even though it is supposed to be a recession. I myself am doing pretty good. When I left them just on a year ago I was a year behind with my mortgage and up to my eyes in debt thanks to their lovely mechanical managers. In such a short space of time I now have almost paid off my mortgage, have a fair chunk of cash in the bank and am about to take on staff over the coming 12 months. Best thing my FSM ever did for me. She never did much else, just waved her arms around and contradicted everything I said. I always said they did not need all these stupid offers, she would not listen so I left and did it my way. I have more work coming in now than I ever did with them and no one tries to get them for nowt. My average order value is massively up on Hillary's target, Currently my July average order value was just under £400. My sales to quote went back to what it was some 8 years ago and runs at around 90% or more again. So I proved to myself that everything I believed in was correct and everything Hillary's have come to believe in is wrong. I have never met so many demoralized agents as they have now. Its no wounder they dont turn up for appointments. They have this knack of totally demoralizing their sales force, the one thing they should be looking after. From what I have heard from customers the new agents they take on don't have a clue and as for these so called specialist, I have seen their work and actually ended up putting it right for the customer as it was that bad. Its no wounder they are in dire straights. Even Arena are disassociating themselves from Hillary's now. Well, they cant say us older agents never warned them. The grass is greener on the other side, much, much greener. |
