Guys......
I got caught double trading in Jan..... I was banged to rights with everything they had one me going back to last summer. thought I was clever (like Brian) they have stuff up there at head office on us and a hit list of potential double traders that they are working through (customer Audits are what got me, they rang EVERY customer I had in November & December.....
Be careful...... I've thrown away 12 years, and i'm on my own now trying to make it without advertising support.
Why was I so greedy ?

I for one look forward to that day when they try to nail me, they can do nothing and will do nothing.
Besides if yous are double trading why ain't yous carrying on with that. advertisisng is easy, igot adds al lover other towns and they bring in the leads. double trading is only a small step from being on your own. Milk it for as long as you can then use your years experiance and go it alone, I know several who have and they are untouched by Sillarys.
On the customer audit, make sure the cust is on your side first, let them know the deal, then its no probs.

What you don't seem to realise is there are very many hard working people at Hillarys who want nothing other than to do well for themselves and do well for the company and it's customers. Sure, they are not perfect and screw-ups happen. Sometimes big ones. But these are people with families and mortgages, and many of them don't earn very much - unlike you of course - and when sales are down, they get made redundant. Stealing leads is no better than stealing money - how can you live with yourself for doing that? |

As I understand it, Sillarys are making foolish mistakes which cost real advisors money, I refuse to lose an order because of that. If the lead is lost, its mine and not the comps, like sillarys I am the comp As i understand it Sillarys are more than double trading themselves, and I am doing no more or less than what they are doing to me and themselves. Business is ruthless and there are casualtys, Sillarys get what they give. |
